After a 2-year hiatus, the Mercado del Norte at Mackenzie Park is back for Old Spanish Days! It is open 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. from Wednesday, August 3rd – Saturday, August 6th.
El Mercado del Norte is a free admission, family-friendly event featuring a full carnival with rides and games, the MOST food vendors and merchant vendors to date, live music and dancing and the Crazy Horse Cantina!
This family-friendly Mercado has a little bit of everything for everyone!
FAMILY FRIENDLY!
This free admission event allows children and parents to enjoy over 30 rides and games, get their face painted, or enjoy the beautiful dancing during the day!
CARNIVAL
Over 30 rides and games!
Save some $$$ and get your $35 wristband to ride unlimited rides between 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3rd – Friday, August 5th.
Wristbands will be on sale between 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday, August 3rd – Friday, August 5th at the Ticket Booths on site.
Carnival will be in operation from:
Wednesday, August 3rd – Thursday, August 4th: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Friday, August 5th – Saturday, August 6th: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Riders of all ages / heights can join us! Most rides require riders to be 36”, but some of the rides allow childen under that heigh to ride with an adult.
FOOD FOR ALL!
There are 14 food vendors serving up a variety of food from authentic tacos, tortas, burritos and pupusas to mouth watering BBQ, tamales, hotdogs, and more!
Everyone loves funnel cake, churros, kettle corn and shaved ice!
CRAZY HORSE CANTINA
Live dancing and music will happen at the Crazy Horse Cantina and craft beer by Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co., including Agua Santa Mexican Lager—the official beer of the Mercado del Norte—seltzer by Ashland Seltzer and wine by Porch Pounder will be available for purchase for guests 21+.
MERCHANT VENDORS
20 Vendors will be on site selling everything from children’s items, toys, jewelry, household goods, clothing, and of course everyone’s favorite cascarones!
