Parades are back on State Street!  Join us!  The Fiesta Dog Parade kicks off at 11 AM this Saturday, May 16th! Join us for a tail-wagging good time in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara on State Street!

Spectators are encouraged to come cheer on over 100 pups along the 800 block of State Street and at Paseo Nuevo Mall. 

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, only pre-registered dogs will be permitted on the Parade Route and in the Staging Area.  There will be no onsite registration.

Date: Saturday, May 16, 2026

Location: Downtown Santa Barbara. Registered Parade dogs will show off the pageantry of the day on the 800 block of State Street, walk up to Canon Perdido, then loop back on State to enter Paseo Nuevo Mall. The event will conclude with DJ Darla Bea, vendor tables, and a Red Carpet experience for the costume contest winners!

Parade Start Time: 11:00 AM

Finale: Post-parade celebration with awards and vendors at the Paseo Nuevo Mall

Registration: Registration is now closed. There will be no onsite registration. 

Participation Guidelines

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all:

  • Dogs must be friendly and comfortable around people and other dogs.
  • All dogs must remain on a leash throughout the event.
  • No instruments, music, or noise-making items are permitted as part of any entry.
  • Advanced registration is required. No on-site registration will be available for either dogs or their human companions.
  • Participants should come prepared to celebrate responsibly and respectfully.

Waiver and Release of Liability
During the registration period, all participants have agreed to the terms of the dog parade registration and release of liability and agree to sign the Hold Harmless Agreement on Parade Day.
