2021 Junior Spirt of Fiesta:
Savannah Hoover
She is 9 and is in third grade at Hollister School.
This year, 10 Spirit Finalists and 5 Junior Spirit Finalists auditioned for the title of Spirit and Junior Spirit of Fiesta.
The 2021 Spirit Auditions were held at the historic Lobero Theatre where Fiesta began in 1924 and was broadcast live on Channel 13/1013. A rebroadcast of the event will air on Saturday, April 24th at 7 PM on Channel 13/1013.
The Spirit and Junior Spirit of Fiesta will receive a $600.00 scholarship. And the Spirit and Junior Spirit Runners-up will receive a $300.00 scholarship.
This year, in addition to a $600 scholarship, the 2021 Spirit of Fiesta (and 1 companion) will receive a trip to Sevilla in the Andalucia region of Spain to experience the Flamenco culture firsthand. The trip will include accommodations for 5 nights, plane fare, participation in a flamenco show, and private lessons. This generous award is sponsored by the Tourist Office of Spain in Los Angeles.
